ERIC CLAPTON SELLS OUT
RICHARD : "THERE'S ANOTHER ROBERT Johnson photograph with him playing what could be one of these: an L4 with a round soundhole, one of the old models from the early 19oos. What's curious about that is it went from a round soundhole to f-holes, then back to a round one for a short period, before reverting to f-holes again. it's one of Gibson's long-running models. Eric said he had that guitar at home and played it all the time because he really liked it. It's a very sensitive guitar with lovely treble."
