LEE : "ERIC USED THIS GUITAR TO OPEN the show regularly in the 1970s and '80s. It would usually be in open tuning and he'd use it for Tulsa Time and stuff like that. Originally he was talking about having several Stratocasters repainted in different colours - including Blackie but we talked about it and came up with the solution that Roger Giffin make three different colour guitars. There was this, blue one, a green one which I now own and a burgundy mist one that's in a Hard Rock Cafe somewhere. There are loads of photographs of Eric playing this guitar and a lot of fans will recognize it instantly. It's got quite a few lacquer cracks on the top and on the neck, because it was finished in a bit of a hurry - actually all three of them were."
