Eric Clapton's official site (www.claptononline.com) has announced that slowhand will perform a tour in Japan. Some rumors tell the release of a new album before this tour and the continuation of this one with some concerts in the USA. What about the Europe ?

In U.S. Theatres October 3 For Limited Theatrical Release, in UK Theatres for October 10th. Rock music’s most celebrated musicians gathered at Royal Albert Hall in London on November 29, 2002 to pay tribute to one of their own, the legendary George Harrison, on the one year anniversary of his death. The film Concert For George gives back all the eomtion of this night.

"Eric Clapton was once desperate to join the Rolling Stones after Mick Taylor left the group, but would never have been accepted by the legendary band because he's too lazy", said recently Keith Richards in an english magazine.

On last June 5, Christie's in New York has sold 25 watches od EC's personnal collection.

Both artists will play together during a benefit concert to UNICEF at the Liverpoll Summer Pops on next July 19. This night show named "John Mayall & Friends" will have other guests also unified to raise funds for end child exploitation campaign.

On May 27, EC will join Lucciano Pavaroti and his friends for the annual show of the italian artist at Modana, Italy. This year, benefits will work on behalf of uprooted Iraqis.
The other artists are among others : Bono (U2), Lionel Richie, Ricky Martin, Queen, Zucchera and Laura Pausini.

Who would have believed that one day we would follow EC during his rehearsals. This is done with "Eric Clapton and Friends" filmed by Jana Bokava at the Bray Studios during the rehearsals of the 2001 Reptile Tour. This documentary will be showed during the Tribeca Festival in New York from May 3 to 11.

The blues, one of the most import musical form in the USA will be honored this year as the american Congres declared the year 2003 year of the blues.
For this, the spring Jazz at Lincoln Center festival (June 2, 2003, 7.30pm) will illustrate the impact of blues on jazz. Morgan Freeman, Ray Charles, Eric Clapton, BB King, Willie Nelsonn Audra McDonald, Carrie Smith will be the main artists of this night.

Benefit concert in aid of the Teenage Cancer Trust will be on 25th March : Eric Clapton and Friends, Mark Knopfler and Friends are the main artists of the night.
