CURTIS: As your former manager, partner, but most of all your friend, it was a thrill to work on this album and to hear your music come alive once again through these great artists. It is a tribute to your genius to your songs are just as great today as they were when they were originally recorded.

Although I know how difficult these past few years have been for you, your inner strength and positive attitude typifies the lyrics you wrote a long time ago.

"I've got to keep on pushing,
I can't stop now.
Move up a little higher
Someway, somehow.
God gave me my strength
And it don't make sense
Not to keep on pushing."
You are in my thoughts and prayers constantly.
Love, Marv

I WOULD LIKE TO EXPRESS MY DEEPEST
appreciation to each and every artist, producer,
and musician who gave so unselfishly of their talents,
time, commitment, and love to this album.
I cannot express myself in heart totally how good it feels
to hear my songs interpreted by all of you.
To Ron Weisner, Marv Stuart (Heiman), Todd Mayfield,
Lenny Waronker, Mo Ostin, Warner Bros. Records
staff, and the many people behind the scenes.
But, most of all, to Altheida, my children and my family for
their great support, and to my God for my continued strength.
I thank you.
Love.
